Prohibits discrimination based on race, gender, color, religion, or
national origin (which includes ancestry or ethnic characteristics.)
Implications of non-compliance
Compensatory damages, including pain and suffering, as well as
punitive damages and attorney's fees are available to successful
plaintiffs. Plaintiffs may also request a jury trial.
